I know very well there are some avid photographers among the FuJETs (and some avid models) so, here’s a chance to get your beautiful mug out there! Every year CLAIR takes photo submissions from current JETs to be considered for the 2011 JET Calendar and other JET/CLAIR publications. This year’s JET calendar actually featured our very own John Au-Yeung (Mr. May) and Paul Sprigg (Mr. October).
Photographs can be sent to CLAIR in one of two ways:
- Burned onto CD-ROM (high resolution JPG, TIF, PNG or GIF)
- A full color print on photo paper in size A4 (no smaller size will be accepted!)
In addition, they request that you include your name, e-mail address, year in the JET Program, prefecture, location where the photo was taken and a short description or title in the file information or written on the back of the print.
IMPORTANT: Submitting photos of yourself, friends or students is perfectly acceptable so long as you obtain permission from the people in your photo before submitting it!
Submissions are due no later than Friday, July 2, 2010. Which should be plenty of time even for you procrastinators! There is no limit to the number of entries, so send as many as you’d like.
