Hey there, FuFriends! Summer's not over yet! Let's enjoy an epic Beach Day in Iwaki! Grab your flip-flops and sunscreen because we're heading to Usuiso Beach* for a day full of laughter, beach games, sand castle building, and hula dancing!

Hula Dance

Hālau Laura-Nani" taught by Ayumi Rinolani, a former hula girl of the 23rd class, is a prominent hula school in Iwaki City. You will leave the classroom and learn hula on one of Iwaki City's best shallow beaches overlooking the Shioyazaki Lighthouse! Hula dancers of all genders, from adults to children, are welcome, and families are welcome to join.

Time: 11AM (hula class will start at 11:30AM, it is a 1HR class)

Class Cost: ¥2,500

Amount of ppl: 25 spots

We will be officially releasing the sign up form on August 3rd for this event. You will have until August 21st to sign up.

NOTE:  **Unfortunately this year they have suspended bus services to Usuiso on the weekends, so you will have to come by car. If you need a ride we will try to help arrange carpools for those traveling far, but be aware we are limited to those who can pick you up in your area or are near the major train stations. We may also be able to shuttle those who can make it to Iwaki station. Let's do our best to enjoy beaching together!
